Rekaofela Deep Cleaning is a 100% Black-owned, ISO-certified pest control and cleaning company based in Gauteng, rebuilt from the ground up in 2024 on one simple decision: do it properly, and be able to prove it.
Our story
Built twice.
Right the second time.
The idea for Rekaofela first took shape between 2009 and 2010, while Moagi Brenton Masenye was working as a coordinator at Woolworths. He could see the shape of the business clearly, but he was skeptical of it, and the company he registered soon after was allowed to lapse. He had not understood what proper registration and compliance actually required, and without that grounding, the drive behind it faded.
The idea came back in 2024, in a work meeting where he watched people being treated without basic respect. It stayed with him. He did not want his own children walking into rooms like that one day, powerless to change how they were treated. So he decided to secure their future properly this time, and rebuilt Rekaofela from the ground up.
Around the same period, working closely with contractors on occupational health and safety, Masenye saw firsthand how much more clients trust a business that can prove its standards on paper. That conviction is why Rekaofela became ISO certified for cleaning and holds two separate certifications for pest control, alongside accreditation in food safety and hygiene, compliance management, chemical safety and risk assessment, and safety audit training.
